Our model, in more hands.
The Jazz Hands Educator Training (JHET) program trains teachers to bring neurodiversity-affirming music & arts education into their own classrooms, multiplying our impact far beyond Los Angeles. JHET is in the process of accreditation, and CEUs will be offered to JHET-certified educators and practitioners as soon as January 2027.
Why it matters
One teacher reaches hundreds of students over their career
We launched the Jazz Hands Educator Training (JHET) program to put our strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach in the hands of more teachers. Instead of reaching one classroom at a time, JHET equips educators to carry the model into theirs, so the impact compounds.
So far, JHET has trained more than 100 educators who have collectively reached over 1,400 students, with a goal of 700 educators trained by the end of 2027.

A practical, affirming toolkit
Neurodiversity-affirming methods
Strengths-based strategies grounded in evidence-based practices, including Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Differentiated Learning, all constructed specifically for music and arts classes and settings.
Ongoing guidance
Training includes ongoing support from Jazz Hands For Autism staff and access to the Jazz Hands Educator Network.
Adaptable lesson frameworks
Materials developed by experts in the field of music and disability education, ready for immediate implementation in your classroom. Available as an optional add-on, currently in beta.
