ABOUT US

Most people don't know that 1 in 36 Americans (and up to 3% of the world's population) are the autism spectrum

Most people also don't know that over 85% of individuals on the autism spectrum are unemployed or underemployed.

But, this is why Jazz Hands For Autism exists: we are here to break stigmas, to empower neurodivergent creatives and to create pathways to inclusion through expression, education and employment in the entertainment industry and beyond

Jazz Hands Jam Session

The Jazz Hands Jam Sessions take place at our Educational Studio in Culver City. At Jam Session, our musicians work together on vocal and instrumental pieces. The musicians fine tune their performance pieces in readiness for paid gigs and concerts. It’s also a great way to make new friends, enhance musicality, and personal awareness. Additionally the sessions build confidence and encourage collaboration--all traits which are essential in fostering a strong sense of self, particularly for individuals with developmental disabilities.
